Beach Trip

For Spring Break we got away for a few days with my mom! We went to Gearhart to avoid the crowds but still be close to the action. We had some beautiful weather but the beach was soooo windy. Have you noticed Aubrey and Noah have the same smile in this picture?
Heres my mom and Sydney, we'd never been to Gearhart before but we liked it. You could drive on the beach which was conveinent when you have four kids and a lot of stuff.
We put together a 550 piece puzzle and did a lot of swimming and biking which the kids loved!
Happy face...sad face! Kelsey and I slept together while Noah and the twins shared a room, they kept him up talking it was cute! We watched Annie one night and the twins loved it, Noah liked it too although he'd never admit it!

Nate came the last night to spend some family time and we were all happy. The last day mom and I went to Seaside to shop at the outlets while Nate took the kids to arcade which they loved. I met up with them just in time to see the kids ride the carosel!
Noah and I competed against Kelsey for coolest sandcastle, ours had a sanddollar theme while Kelseys looked like an alligator. We called it a tie because ours was cool but Kelseys was so creative!
It was great to get away I always love the beach and it made Spring Break go so fast!

Children Museum

Last Friday the kids didn't have school so we went some friends to the Childrens museum to play. Kelsey's fallin down in the digt pit and can't get up which I thought was hilarious so I took a picture before helping her up.This is Makenna my BFF's daughter so nows she's my twins BFF. What a great smile...and those cheeks! She had a blast in the store area but was pretty much content anywhere!
The twins on the other hand were having major issues! It was crazy busy right when we got there because apparently Portland didn't have school that day either. The girls were overwhelmed and freaked out for the first hour but finally came alive in the dig pit. Aubrey's playing with Olivia the girls other BFF.
Noah's with Olvia's big brother Issac , he had the best time of everybody but you'd never get him to admit it! Makenna also has a big brother Brayden that he got to play with!
Once the girls were loosened up we went back to the areas they were afraid to play in before. They loved the resturant area and enjoyed the sing/song time by the treehouse.
We ended up staying there over 3 hours, it was a long but fun day and I'm glad we got to go with our friends!

Pinewood Derby

Sorry bad lighting on this picture...this is the Saturay before the derby when Nate forced Noah outside to help cut out his car, they also made this cool little letter.Nate was very concerned about building a fast car for Noah and spent many hours working on it since this was our first derby. Noah didn't quite know what to expect but he LOVED it!

Noah at the top watchin his car. He was very excited his car did well and Nate was very relieved!

Look how into it Noah is, I love it! He won for fastedstlooking car and 4th place overall which he felt really good about. More importantly he had a really great time so I think he'll be more willing to help with his car next year!
I'm still trying to get used to fact that I have a boy scout and am trying to figure out what that all means!?@?!@#?#!

And for those of you keeping track: It looks like the new business name will be Mt Hood Landscape..but not 100% yet!

Am I Weird? Part 3

This is the third installment in my ongoing series where I ponder the meaning of normal and weird and try to determine where I fit in? If you need a little more background before making your own determination here is Part 1, or Part 2.

So I'm wondering if I'm the only one who does this....I organize my closet according to colors. Here are my short sleeve tops the yellow one is out of order but you get the idea, the shirts are grouped by color. It makes it easier to find what I'm looking for....

Now here the long sleeve shirts, again by color. So this is my question is this a great idea and totally normal or is this weird and borderline OCD?
And is it even weirder that I wonder about this and I wonder about it so much that I made a blog post about it? Its not as if I don't have other things to blog about it?

Have a great weekend. Hoping to have the final result of Name that Business by Monday!
