Why I love Sunriver...by Kelly Perry
Free Fishing Day with activities for the kids and a free BBQ lunch.. No fish were caught but we discovered Sydney loves to fish!
The pool...complete with a slide and the perfect depth for the big kids to enjoy hours of splashing in.
The kiddie pool....once again the perfect depth for the twins to enjoy hours of floating around in while I read, relax, and soak up the sun.
The park. The house we stayed at was very close to the park and the kids loved among other things the tether ball and merry-go-round.
Not pictured the bike paths. Perfect for hours of biking and morning jogs complete with beautiful scenery and wildlife to enjoy!
The hot tub. Great for family time together and more fun. Yes, I'm fried from the pool!
Picnics together.
The horses. The twins were a little freaked out at first but their so beautiful.
Goody's ice cream shoppe. Arguable the best ice cream shope ever. Adorable stuffed animals, all kinds of candy and popcorn and of course ice cream.
Last but not least....time with my favorite guy. Since starting his own business he sometimes works 6 days a week...10 to 12 hours a day so its great to spend time together as a family. Nate prepared all the meals and cleaned up, encouraged me to go on a run, take naps, and lay by the pool. Kelsey and I even got to go shopping and got some cute clothes!
Thats why theres such a big smile on my face. I can't wait to go back next year.!

I'm so glad you guys got to get away and have some family time together! It's so easy to get cought up in daily life with all the busy, crazy stuff, it's necessary and totally worth it to get away once in a while and take a break from reality:) It looks like there is tons of fun things to do in Sun River!

You have put a bee in my bonnett and I think that I might need to go to Sunriver next year with the family. Looks like you had a ton of fun. Great pictures!

ahhhh...we should have come and shared your 3 bedroom house with you ;) I have a feeling it wouldn't have been so relaxing, or family oriented :) Glad you got to get away. and glad you are back!
