For our last Spring Break Hurrah, Selena and I took the kids to Oaks Park. Luckily Selena is game for just about anything. Our plan to bond our sons worked like a charm. It only took one wild ride together and they were inseperable. See that smile on Braydens face it was there the whole day. And the missing tooth..adorable!
Here we are having some lunch. Yes it was cold and it even rained on us. So Selena is now a true Oregonian. Luckily at the end of the day it stopped raining and warmed up! It's always crazy going to Oaks Park I used to go when I was a kid with my family, then dating with Nate and now with my kids.
The 2-year olds did a lot of this while the big kids went on the rides. All in all they did great. Towards the end of the day they were done sitting, and my girls were melting down. But we stayed the whole time 12-5! Yes were crazy!
I like Oaks Park because they have a decent combination of big kid and little kids rides considering our broods ages ranged from 9 to 2! It was crazy crowded but the kids were pretty patient about the lines. Selena and I even went on a couple rides with the kids. I was sure wiped out when I got home!
If you look behind Kelsey you'll see Aubrey on one side with Noah and Sydney on the other with Brayden. After a failed attempt on the cars Sydney loved the motorcyles as she said they went, beep-beep and vroom-vroom. (with the hand motions). All in all we all had a great time. The kids are still talking about what a great time they had and isn't that whats its all about!

Okay...that is so weird! Sydney and Kelsey could be twins! That pic of Sydney! She looks just like Kelsey! WOW! I'm glad you guys had fun. Too bad you didn't mention anything about me in your post. I guess we can still be friends. LOL
We did have LOTS of fun! Thanks for inviting us...I'm glad our plan to bond the boys was successful! I even think the little girls did great. The outing was definitely the big hit of the weekend...Brayden actually THANKED me!
Looks like you guys had a great time; I can't believe you stayed that long, we usually only last about three hours.
Looks like fun! I was just thinking about taking the kiddos to Oaks Park yesterday and your photos convinced me.
