The names and events of this story have not been changed. I owned lavender slippers for a number of years. They were cozy and fit my feet, they made me happy. One day Nate told me they were gross and he didn't want to touch them even though I occansionally washed them. So with a gift card I received for Christmas I got a new pair.

So this is where the myserty comes in. The day I brought home the slippers my old ones dissappeared. That is not unusual because I tend to take them off wherever or whenever. But I figured they would turn up because I believe things always turn up. But its been months and they haven't, they're gone. It's just so weird that it happened the day I got my new ones.

I even looked around for them in preparation for this post but they were no where to be found. These are my new ones sorry they look gross but I love my slippers and I wear them all the time.
P.S. The first two pictures have nothing to do with the story their just to add visual interest for the reader.

It's Nate. Blame him. That's what hubbies are there for. :) And I'm glad you took the time to take pictures of many different slippers for us to enjoy. If I did that I would be taking pictures of no less than 6-7 pairs of slippers.
You are so funny! Slippers are the best:)) I'm sure you hubby threw them out when you weren't looking!
Nate swears he didn't throw them out!
I agree with Carrie -I don't really think it is a mystery -I think he tossed them when you weren't looking. Or I guess it could be Dash. I miss my slippers very much every morning when I have to put on real shoes :(
