Remorse

Saturday I made a chocolate cake just for fun when I was home with the kids. I did good and didn't eat any that night but then I had some Sunday night and It made me totally sick. It wasn't even that big if a piece! You'd think I'd learned my lesson but NO, when I got up Monday morning I shoved a couple bites in while I was getting the kids ready for school and I was sick the rest of the day. Lesson Learned. While I'm still tempted I generally just feel sick looking at it.
Side note :it looks really gross in this picture but trust me its NOT!
The other night I stayed up until 2:30 finishing my book. It wasn't even that suspenseful or anything I was just enjoying the lite romance of it all. I'm not sure at what point I decide to read until its over but my remorse isn't about the lack of sleep as you might think. Its that the book is over and enjoyed reading it and why didn't I slow down and make it last longer? I always do that and now I'm left with an empty feeling.
I know I'm a complicated person!

I know that feeling! (the one about finishing your book...not getting sick at chocolate cake...that doesn't happen to me, but I digress) I finished Hunger games in two days...and now I'm sad! Go back and read the 'good' parts. that's what I do :)

I wish pigging out on junk made me sick - but I would have had to eat the entire cake to get sick. I don't think it looks yucky, I just want a fork.
Now, you have me very eagar to read that book. Currently working on Great Expectations...
