Pictures for facebook

Apparently letters, phone, cell, texting, emails, or blogging isn't enough anymore. Now theres facebook. In my endless journey to fit in and be accepted by my peers I've recently joined. But I needed a picture. There are very few pictures of me in my past albums and even fewer that I felt worth posting. So last night before I left the house I had Nate snap some pictures. After he stopped laughing at me he said yes. This one was no good because he was sitting down and I was standing so I look like I have a double chin or two.
Noah helped with these next two, look at me trying to look all young and skinny totally oblivious to the little boy behind me. It was tricky taking the picture because I recently chopped my bangs and got them way short so it took awhile until I was satisfied the swoop before I could be photographed for all the world to see.
Isn't he precious. I went with the big hoop earrings to try and look hip. I had to force myself for a week not to pick my zits so I wouldn't have any big red marks on my face. You have no idea the effort this took.
Maybe I'll try one with my baby, take some of the focus off me. Wow, look how long her hair is. I hope I don't sound super vain in this post but it weirds me out when people I haven't seen since like high school will be seeing me, even if it is in a picture.
This is the winner. Notice how I turned slightly to the side to try and make myself look better Hey, its worth trying ok. And yes I did have Nate take a bunch so I could pick one out. I have issues ok!

So evidently I don't leave long enough comments on anyone's blog so I need to write more here. Hmmmm.... what should I say. I think you need a little more practice with the self-portraits. HAHAHA! JUST KIDDING!!! So ya I'm sitting here talking to you on the phone while typing on your blog. How's that for a dedicated friend? We're discussing when we all four can get together while one of the twins is whining at you in the backgroud. Kelsey was having issues too. Aubrey wants "back". Why aren't you doing whatever she wants the right way? I mean GOSH! K, well I guess this comment is long enough right now. I better go and actually be present in our conversation. Love ya!

You look beautiful. Didn't you like the one I suggested from 6 years ago??? Chris says "Noah was funny doing that". Lucky you have a laughing husband to take some pictures. I have been feeling the need to change mine since it has a Christmas tree in the background. Love ya, Wen

I wish I was brave enough to have pictures taken for me...I don't know if I have enough memory space to find that 'right' pose. My double chin never goes away...no matter the angle (It's true and I accept it, it's ok) AND we always knew you had issues. I remember you had to straighten your hair and be completely ready to go for a walk on the windy beach...where no one but us girls knew you...so um yeah issues alright! (just kidding you, ya know! I can cause we've shared a bed)

We should have a Facebook pictures day where we get together, I bring the camera, and I take photos of all you gorgeous ladies and you can use them for your Facebook profile photo. I still need to take Liz's photos for the site she contributes to. Why not make it a picture party?
Wait. . . wasn't I supposed to be scaling back so I could finish a book? Oh well. Picture day still sounds fun.
