Every year Nate's work does this carnival for the neighborhood by their shop. Its the one work event I don't hate going to. The kids dress up, play games, get hay rides, pet ponies (if they want), paint pumpkins, do crafts, get their face painted, you get the idea. This is the kids at the party 2 years ago, the twinsies were 3 months old (we hadn't gotten their costumes yet.)

This is the picture from yesterday. Last year we obviously didn't have our camera or we didn't take a picture because it was bitter cold and wet and they had it in the shop. We shopped late Friday night to get Kesley her pirate costume apparently very popular this year. We found it at Walmart where I didn't wanna go. She wanted the boy outfit, thought it looked more authentic. I thought it was a great idea because then Noah could wear it, but Nate wouldn't have it.

This was the first year we let the girls out of their stroller to partake in the merriment and candy eating. How cute are they, and oh so happy to be binging on the sugar. I'm glad we had a trial run with the ducky costume. I'd forgotten when Kelsey wore this 7 years ago that the hood part was a pain and slightly uncomfortable to keep on. Don't be surprised if you see Sydney sporting an Elmo costume in the future another option from the Halloween box.
