How my day started...

Let it forever be known that mornings are really hard for me. As I've previously mentioned I'm tired from staying up too late and often overwhelmed by the day ahead, which is why breakfast and exercise are very important to improving my attitude. This particular morning I'd once again spent the last hour making lunches, packing backpacks, getting kids dressed (yes, my kids should be able to dress themselves, tell that to Noah.), cooking breakfast, and putting kids on the bus, before I settled down with my cereal. I like to sit at the computer and read one of my favorite blogs, pioneer women, while I eat and regroup. Less than five minutes later I happened upon this...

Sydney myhigh spirited twin was playing in the pancake batter rather than coloring happily which is what I thought. She was obviously ashamed and embarrassed as she shook her head like a crazy women as if to say no pictures. She was actually mad I had the camera. Check out her sister Aubrey she's clueless to the drama. So the pictures don't do the mess justice we're talking floor, chairs, counters, clothes. Luckily it was realtively easy to clean up which I did and went about my day.

so, um, yeah. That's why my kids get cereal for breakfast everyday! You're such a good mom to actually make something hot. The closest we get is toaster strudels :)
