Looking at this picture you'd never imagine the mischief these gal can get into. Even though they're only 2, they're already showing signs of giving up their nap, much to my dismay. Every day its a different girl with different challenges to get them to nap but I am bound and determined to hold on as long as a I can! So today Sydney was pretty tired because she'd been up during the night and then woke up early, but her sister had slept fine and even slept in a little bit this morning. You can imagine the outcome, Aubrey was having nothing to do with going to sleep and while Sydney may have dosed off here and there her sister made sure it was nothing substantial. Yes, I should of split them up but that kinda a pain. So the result was a grumpy Sydney because she hadn't gotten enough sleep and a fairly content Aubrey until late evening became meltdown time. It made for a challenging FHE, and an all around long day. Of course the big kids weren't much better. But thats for another day.

Heehee! That pic is awesome! LOL! All my kids stop napping at 2 but with Riven I couldn't bear to give it up so I resorted to driving him around every day until he fell asleep. Now with gas prices so high I wouldn't do it. Well...maybe I would! LOL!
AH....what is it about 2 year olds? They just do not know what they (or Mommy!) NEEDS! Makenna is doing the same thing...it's so sad to hear the 'NO! NO! NIGHT NIGHT, AWAKE!' but alas...I need my quiet (or at leat kid free) time too. Here's to hoping our girls decide it's better to sleep :)
I wish Olivia would nap, it would be so nice to have a little break during the day! I hope yours hold on to that nap longer than she did!
